#My Rich Blog $$$

My Rich Blog will be about Globaloria. I think Globaloria is a very good class that needs to be offered at George Washington High School next year. Globaloria has no funding for the next school year so we are having HVIs (High Valued Individuals) come to GW to see if they will support us for many years to come. We NEED to keep working on our games so that we can prove Globaloria is worth funding. So on Wednesday this week, make sure that you have a big smile and as much as possible done for your games in order to impress the HVIs.

A Rich Blog is this...

A rich blog is a blog that has all of the requirements for a blog plus more. The make up of a rich blog is having the proper amount of sentences, pictures, and links. The reason our blogs should be rich is because it shows that we know how to make blogs that are worth reading. If we create blogs that are dull and boring, nobody will want to read them. So all we need to do is put a few funny pictures and interesting links to make our blogs attractive. SOPA/PIPA

SOPA and PIPA are... I mean were 2 proposed bills to Stop Online Piracy, hence the name SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and to Protect IPs, hence the name PIPA (Protect IPs Act). I didn't follow it very much, but I what I did retain from them was that they want to rid the U.S. of people using other peoples videos, like the YouTube comic RayWilliamJohnson does. Protecting IPs makes more sense to me, but like I said, I didn't follow it that much. One way to stop online piracy is to watch over who is doing what and what they are using with their fancy log ins that can easily be checked. It can easily be checked to see what is pirated.

What I Think...

This class is a very fun and enjoyable class. I enjoy working in Flash the most because it gives me a perspective of how much progress I am making every day towards completing our game. We know that we are accomplishing things that are for our game. At first, I thought that this class would be a fun class that I could use as an escape from my other classes. Now that we are in the second semester, I have realized that this was true except that it is a lot more work and harder than I thought it would be. This class is an escape because it is a different type of learning experience than other class. I never thought that learning logs, editing our team/personal pages,managing the Wiki, working in Flash, and blogging would just add up and make up the bulk of our grade. The one thing that I really like about this class is that it is a break from all of the other classes that I have in the day because this class is a go at your own pace, unlike the other classes during the day. The one thing I dislike is when I can't draw some of the days while working in flash. It gets irritating.

Christmas

Well, during my Christmas break I did many things. I played xbox 360, read my book, watched movies, visited with my family in Pittsburgh, and many other things.

Some presents that I got are Skullcandy headphones, a Pittsburgh Steelers jacket, shoes, clothes, one of my favorite hockey players jersey/shirt, Evgeni Malkin and one of my favorites, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. While I was in Pittsburgh, I visited my family and had our own Christmas between ourselves. Then while we were still on break, I went and visited the other side of my family for new years. We enjoyed watching football games and a nice dinner. While watching football on New Years day, we watched one of my least favorite team lose, the Cowboys. Overall it was a very good day with my family.

I had a very fun break, but I wish it could have lasted longer. Next year we should have more ays off for our break.
